Download the application form, the evaluation form (you will need evaluations from three references) and the writing test. Please make sure your application packet is complete. A checklist is included in the application form. Mail your packet directly to the newspaper of your choice. You may apply to more than one paper. Please note that the Los Angeles Times also welcomes applications from photographers/visual journalists and interactive graphics/data journalists. Visual journalists should complete the required forms and submit a portfolio with a minimum of 20 single images and three complete photo stories or multimedia presentations on a DVD, flash drive or through a link to a personal website.
